Dance Preview: Flash Mob @ Peacock Theatre

Two versions of this preview follow. Choose your camp!

Fans of reality TV dance shows

Rejoice, for you shall see your telly heroes live on stage doing what you love them for. SYTYCD's Charlie Bruce will get sassy, framed by her cloud of bouncy curls (with choreography from former dance partner, the amazing Tommy Franzen). Got To Dance series 3 semi-finalists Brosena will thrill with nifty Irish footwork and series 2's Alleviate will bring a lump to your throat with their heartfelt lyrical duet. Even though you don't know America's Best Dance Crew, The Elektrolytes, you'll holler for them as you compare their street moves and clever choreography to Flawless and Diversity. Booked your tickets already? Right, see you there!

The rest of you

Don't sniff because it's reality TV led. Commercial dance is fun and fizzes with energy and emotion. This mixed bill of young performers showcases multiple styles of dance, from Irish to jazz, contemporary to street. Consider it a variety performance and know that the cast will dance out of their skin to please you. It's a great way to introduce children to watching dance on stage and we defy you not to be on your feet by curtain down.

Flash Mob is at the Peacock Theatre from 16 October to 4 November. Tickets from £12.

PS Got to Dance auditions take place on Clapham Common between 13 September and 2 October and if you're a Sky customer you can get free tickets to watch them.
