The UK has an ever-growing street art scene as do both North America and Europe. But what about South America, and Argentina in particular? At the moment its scene is largely unknown in the UK.

Graffitimundo is looking to change that. It's an organisation whose purpose is to make people aware of Argentinian street art and they're bringing the work of some of their most promising artists to London. Street art is a reflection of the city and its people at a particular time so we can expect this exhibition to provide an insight into what life is like in Buenos Aires and the outlook of its people.

Installation and abstract art from South America have already translated well across the Atlantic so there's no reason to suggest this display will be any less successful.

Graffitimundo presents The Talking Walls of Buenos Aires is on at the Londonewcastle Project Space, 28 Redchurch Street, E2 7DP from 6-13 September. Entrance is free.
