Ticket Alert: Beth Orton, Foreign Beggars, Nasum And More

This week's gig announcements make up in eclecticism what they lack in big names. Tickets to these gigs should be available from 9am on Friday.

Foreign Beggars are a London grime act who claim to be genre-defying, eclectic and energetic. Oh, and one of the group's members has taken the moniker Orifice Vulgatron. Don't pretend you're not intrigued. Catch them at Heaven on 17 October. Tickets £15 + bf.

So far, Beth Orton's career has certainly been varied. And after a bit of a gap, this folky singer-songwriter has been hard at work on a new album. You can see her at Islington's beautiful Union Chapel on 5 December. Tickets £22.50 + bf.

Swedish grindcore fan? You'd better get down to Camden's Underworld on 25 September, because Nasum are reforming for a one-off tour celebrating the group's 20th anniversary. Keijo Niinimaa will take the place of former frontman Mieszko Talarczyk, who tragically died in the 2004 tsunami. Tickets £13.50 + bf.

Spanish singer-songwriter Juan Zelada was playlisted on Radio 2 last year, and now he's touring his London-inspired album. See him at Scala on 29 November. Tickets £12.50 + bf - apparently you can get your money back if he's not up to scratch.

Tennessee indie-rockers The Features achieved a modicum of prominence when they signed to the Kings of Leon's record label in 2010. But they're no flash in the pan - they've been making music together since 1994. See them at Bush Hall on 12 September. Tickets £10 + bf.

Also booking this week: Kid British, Kimbra, Status Quo, Herbie Hancock's first ever solo concert in London, and - on the off-chance you might be interested - Justin Bieber at The O2.
