Monday Join the London Jazz meet up for world class sax with the Will Vinson Quartet at Con Cellar Bar, Camden from 8.30pm (£5).

Tuesday: Celebrate the new edition of Ambit Magazine at the Betsey Trotwood, Farringdon from 7pm (free).

Wednesday: The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra perform the 'Best of British' in Canada Square Park, Canary Wharf from 7pm (free).

Thursday SELFS talk about Sheela Nar Gigs and The English Goddess upstairs at the Old Kings Head, Borough from 8pm (£2.50, all welcome).

Friday: Superheroes descend on Lower Marsh for Waterloo Carnival between 12-5pm (free).

Saturday: Shoreditch Festival begins with Hoxton Street Party on Hoxton Street from 10am till late (free).

Watch an all day dance concert from Project Dance at the Scoop, More London from 10am-4pm (free).

Sunday: BAFTA and Rushes Soho Shorts New Filmmakers Market presents all day screenings, debates, networking, workshops and more at BAFTA, Piccadilly (sessions £5 or free).

An afternoon of soul and funk with break dancing awaits you in Canada Square Park, Canary Wharf as part of the City of London Festival from 12-3pm (free).
