Take Part In The City Beach Volleyball Championships

Beach Volleyball might be one of the hottest Olympic tickets from a spectator's point of view but this September, you and your work colleagues, friends or family could be diving into the sand and spiking balls across Broadgate Circle for the Action for Kids fourth annual City Beach Volleyball Championship.

The national children's charity needs up to 16 teams of 6-12 competitors (men and women) to sign up now.

Each team will get 2 hours training with a a qualified Volleyball England coach, the chance to play at least 3 matches lasting 20 minutes each, plus entry into the sitting volleyball tournament, a goodie bag and the all important company profile in the event brochure.

In return, your team needs to pledge to raise £2,500 minimum in sponsorship (but if you enter 10 members each of them will have to raise just £250 each).

Sounds like a fun and physical team building exercise as well as an excellent charitable endeavour — raising money to support disabled children and young people. Watch this video to find out more:

Action For Kids host their fourth annual City Beach Volleyball Championships at Broadgate Circle on Friday 21 September. Register your team now.
