Preview: Global Feast, Stratford

As there's clearly not much going on down Stratford way this summer, we thought we'd highlight a giant food-fest taking place at the Old Town Hall. Global Feast runs over 20 consecutive days. Diners seat themselves inside a jumbo model of the planet (created by Atmos), with seats hovering over coastlines and continental shelves. Each day offers up a different world cuisine. Each cuisine is created by one of London's many supper club chefs. And each supper club chef is chosen by The Underground Restaurant's Kerstin Rodgers, AKA MsMarmitelover.

The fun starts on 25 July with western Africa as the chosen cuisine. Each night, the food moves steadily east, before reaching Brazil, 2016 Olympic hosts, on 13 August. Something for everyone — unless you were holding out for cooking from the Azores.

Tickets £55 per person (£65 on weekends/£100 for the Opening Ceremony evening).
