What is the ideal surface for creating art on? Is it paper, cloth, the side of a building or even a window? Every artist has to adjust to the surface they're working with and as it gets more diverse so must their choice of medium.
This group show featuring 26 artists explores the use of various media and how they can be used to produce art whether it be a squeegee on a shop window or the reflections of people's feet as they walk across a tiled floor.
There has always been a strong link between churches and art, and as a venue a church can bring a powerful atmosphere to an exhibition - as witnessed at Repre earlier this year. This exhibition is also exhibiting in a crypt, but this time below St. Pancras Church.
This promises to be an innovative show with a wide variety of emerging and experimental artists present. It's an ideal opportunity to see how the boundaries of art are being explored.
