For three months from tomorrow, funky architecture and design magazine Dezeen are taking over a shop in Seven Dials. You can see some of the tasty products on offer in the gallery above. Mmm, design.
The pop-up emporium on Monmouth Street will run until 30 September, offering visitors a Dezeen "Super Store" experience. The "micro department store and gallery" brings together the different strands of this design brand: their designer watch boutique Dezeen Watch Store; their pop-up design "concept" The Temporium and their Designed in Hackney Shop.
There'll be exclusive product launches as well as a unique range of products from Hackney-based designers, fulfilling their "Designed in Hackney" initiative. (The Dezeen brand's home borough.) You can buy everything from stickers and prints to watches and designer lighting, all designed and produced in Hackney. They're also running a Seven Designers for Seven Dials project; seven design installations suspended above the streets by, you guessed it, seven leading designers and commissioned by Dezeen.
The Dezeen pop-up is part of the ever-brilliant London Design Festival.
The Dezeen Super Store at 38 Monmouth Street, Seven Dials, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9EP runs until 30 September. It's open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
