Ticket Alert: Tori Amos, Bon Iver, The Temper Trap And More

Gigs on sale this week include an old favourite, a bright new soul singer and some silky jazz. Tickets to all these should be available from 9am on Friday.

French-American singer Madeleine Peyroux has a fine voice to accompany her pleasantly-glossy jazz sound. See her at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on 18 August. Tickets £37.50 + bf.

You might remember The Temper Trap's single, Sweet Disposition, from 2009's festivals – and if you didn't hear it there, you've probably heard it used in adverts. The London-based Australian indie group released their second album earlier this month, and will play HMV Hammersmith Apollo on 4 October. Tickets £20 + bf.

Dramatic songs coupled with a distinctive falsetto have won Bon Iver a burgeoning fan-base. It's grown so much, in fact, that the indie-folkers have booked in to play the cavernous former swimming pool that is Wembley Arena on 8 November. Tickets £27.50 + bf.

Tori Amos has always resisted easy categorisation, with a back catalogue that includes several concept albums and numerous instruments. She's looking back over her 20-year career by releasing a record of songs reworked in orchestral settings. You can see her Gold Dust Orchestral Tour at the Royal Albert Hall on 3 October. Tickets from £42.50 + bf.

With a winning combination of great guitar skills and a versatile, powerful voice, Lianne La Havas could be going places. We were impressed when we saw the soul-influenced singer in February. See her at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on 11 October. Tickets £15 + bf.

Also booking this week: We Are Augustines, Mika, Hot Chip and Breton.
