Monday: Take a media walk round Bloomsbury with inmidtown, visiting locations from the history of cinema, television and radio and sites from the story of sport from 5.30pm (free).

Tuesday: Last Tuesday at RIBA is all about play and architecture from 6-10pm at Portland Place (some events free, some £5, booking advisable).

Stolen Recordings present bands Teleman, Race Horses and My Sad Captains at the Shacklewell Arms, Dalston from 8pm (free entry & d/load a free Race Horses track here).

Wednesday: The Redball is coming to London. Also, watch out for Sydney Dance Company duetting around the City of London festival street pianos until Friday.

Find out about Alan Turing Late at the Science Museum from 6.45-10pm (free).

Thursday: Philharmonia Orchestra present Music of Today: Young Composers Academy concert in the Royal Festival Hall from 6pm (free, just turn up).

London Fortean Society meets to talk about ghosts, possession, exorcism, 'stone tape theory' and vicars at The Bell, E1 from 8pm (£3 all welcome).

Galleries in Fitzrovia stay open late till 9pm for Fitzrovia Lates (free entry).

Friday: It's Last Friday for the South London Art Map with loads of art to visit in Deptford, Peckham and Bankside between 6-8pm (free).

Stay late at the V&A for Un-built:de/constructing architecture between 6.30-10pm (free). Next door, the Natural History Museum is also open till 10pm (free).

Saturday: Canary Wharf will be filled with outdoor dance performances for Dancing City, part of Greenwich & Docklands International Festival (free).

Take a tour of the Bank of England as part of the City of London Festival (free).

Join a Flickr Scavenger Hunt with London Transport Museum and explore a new part of London between 11am-5pm (free but please book for north, south, east or west).

Experience a live relay screening of the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela in concert in Royal Festival Hall, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel in the Clore Ballroom from 7.30pm (free).

Sunday: Join the celebrations for Canada Day in Trafalgar Square from 10.30am-10pm (free).
