Get Free London Theatre Tickets for Under 16s with Kids Week

August. If you haven’t got tickets to the Games, aren’t fleeing London for anywhere Edinburgh, but you have got kids to entertain, you might want to look into the theatre ticket deals available with Kids Week.

Every summer, London’s theatre shows offer a free child’s ticket for every adult ticket purchased to one of the Kids Week shows. This year, there are 38 London shows taking part, and the offer's available for the whole of August, so you’re sure to find something to suit you. (We're looking for a kid to borrow so we can have an excuse to see Matilda again – anyone?!) As well as the one freebie, you can buy up to two more children’s tickets half-price. So don’t panic about having to leave someone behind.

Shows taking part in the deal include musicals like Billy Elliot, The Lion King, Les Mis and Singin’ In The Rain; comedies such as The 39 Steps and One Man, Two Guvnors; dramas like Chariots Of Fire and The Woman In Black; and cute children’s shows like Dora The Explorer and The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

As well as the free ticket offer, there are a host of activities, workshops and events to give kids a taste of the world of theatre and get them singing and dancing along to their favourite West End shows. You can attend Q&A sessions with actors, puppet workshops and even take part in a Tigerlympics Tea Party.

Visit www.kidsweek.co.uk for a full line-up of shows and activities on offer. Tickets go on sale on the website at 10am today (12 June), or you can call the Kids Week 24 hour booking hotline on 0844 248 5151. On your marks, get set, GO!
