Free Gig Tonight: Amanda Palmer @ Village Underground

Amanda Palmer, singer with Dresden Dolls, is playing a free ‘ninja’ show tonight (19 June) at Village underground- it will be very special indeed.

Palmer, who is renowned for such last minute ninja gigs with her ukulele, will be supported by her bassist Jherek Bischof who will be playing with a string quartet.

The cabaret rock superstar, who recently raised $1.2 million in fan donations to promote her forthcoming album, announced the show on Twitter ahead of her sold out show tomorrow night.

It follows and intimate acoustic show and art exhibition last night where fans who donated money through Kickstart were rewarded with a mesmerising acoustic show which included a song by her husband, writer Neil Gaiman.

Amanda Palmer plays Village Underground EC2A 3PQ 19 June,  7pm, free entry, Ages 14 plus (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
