At 9pm tonight Channel 4 will show The Tallest Tower: Building the Shard, a documentary on the making of what is now the biggest skyscraper in the European Union.
From the C4 website:
Filmed over four years, The Tallest Tower: Building the Shard provides exclusive behind-the-scenes access to this architectural journey, and the story of one man's desire to leave a lasting mark on the capital.
The man in question is property developer Irvine Sellar, who bought the site back in 1998 and, 15 years later, is finally seeing his vision realised.
