Tuesday: a slightly louder Shearwater are at Scala. Downtempo indie rock mainstays Low are at the Royal Festival Hall. Or forgo the indie and get funky with Lee Fields at Islington Assembly Hall.

Wednesday: indie folkers Other Lives are at the Village Underground. The Futureheads are supporting their a cappella effort at Union Chapel.

Prog metal titans Primus are at the Royal Albert Hall Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday: alt-country outfit Deer Tick are at the Garage.

Friday: Britpoppers Cast are back supporting a new album at Shepherds Bush Empire.
