The last resident at Tony's gallery got into trouble for littering, so it only seems natural that the next exhibition is dedicated to a street artist.
Pez rose to fame when his emblem of a smiling fish started to pop up all around his native Barcelona. Since then, his artwork has spread across the world including Europe, South-east Asia and the Americas.
Though his work has diversified, his signature motif of smiling fish and the use of bright colours is present in all of his works.
The smile is infectious and it would have maximum effect if painted on the side of an abandoned warehouse in a run down area, but in a gallery it loses some of its potency.
Pez: Smiling Since 1999 is on display at Tony's gallery, 68 Sclater Street, E1 6HR until 6 May. Entrance is free.
