What's more, bar prices are eminently reasonable and service is excellent.

In fact, service is great throughout the hotel and it's not surprising to learn that many of the personnel have been with the hotel for many years. Pride is evident wherever you encounter staff. Notably, the breakfast service in the busy City Cafe is top notch, with a menu including an impressive list of a made-to-order options.

Pimlico is a brilliant location from which to explore London — and a perfect riverside pad for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations — or to spend a night away from home in quiet urban luxury without squandering your entire salary.
