Walk Through London Like A King Or Queen For Charity

Each year, the Terrence Higgins Trust puts on a charity Walk For Life event to raise money for The Hardship Fund, which provides one-off small grants for people living with the double burden of HIV and severe financial need. This year's walk takes place through central London on 20 May.

The theme is 'Kings and Queens', to tie in with the Diamond Jubilee. Participants are encouraged to enrobe, becrown and tiarafy themselves for a right royal 10km stroll around the capital. You can be as inventive as you like with the theme: Elvis, Queen of Hearts, King Kong, Pricilla...all are fair game. Plain-clothes royals are also welcome.

This is the 23rd year in which the event has taken place, and organisers are hoping to attract 1,500 walkers and £140,000 in donations.

If you'd enjoy wandering around in royal costume and helping a great cause, sign up for the walk here.
