Ticket Alert: Gossip, Slash, Scissor Sisters And More

Beth DittoThis Friday's ticket onsales promise a former Guns N' Roses legend and some glam-rock-pop, plus what could be a hot and sweaty night near Old Street. Here are our picks.

Slash might not be poised to rejoin Guns N' Roses any time soon, but with his second album due later this year he is planning to stop by the Hammersmith Apollo on 6 June. Tickets £29.50 + bf, from 9am.

A few years ago Gossip played a sweltering set at Camden's tiny Barfly. On 15 May the trio visit the somewhat-larger XOYO by Old Street tube for their album launch show. With Beth Ditto at the helm anything could happen. Tickets £15 + bf, from 9am.

The following evening, fans of glam-poppers Scissor Sisters will need to head west again. The five-piece from New York play O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on 16 and 17 May. Tickets £32.50 + bf, from 9am.

BluesFest runs in late June and early July and sees acts play a variety of venues in Manchester and London. Names lined up for the capital so far include Ronnie Wood, Brand New Heavies, Hugh Laurie and Tom Jones. Here's the full line-up - tickets available from 9am.

Also booking this week: Stiff Little Fingers, Dappy (yes, really) and Ben Kweller. Tickets are also still available for the Camden Crawl, which this week announced acts including The Futureheads, Glasvegas and Gaz Coombes.
