London's Cabaret Zingers, 14-20 March

Put some zing in your life with some of the kinkiest and kookiest entertainment in London.

Zinger Of The Week: The Double R Club, Thursday @ Bethnal Green Working Men's Club

Last month's London Cabaret Awards gave many long-deserved nods to purveyors of the weird and wonderful and they don't come much weirder and more wonderful than the winner of Best Ongoing Production, the David Lynch-inspired Double R Club. This month, they welcome (amongst others) another LCA awardwinner, Dickie Beau, who walked away with last year's Miss Twin Peaks award. £10

TONIGHT: The Royal Vauxhall Tavern (RVT) has the last visitation (for now) of "nun-better" interviewer Sister Mary McArthur of St Peter’s of the Sisters of the Third Removed who will be taking confessions from Helen Lederer, Wincey Willis and Paul Phear. For FREE filthy and fab fun, go underground and seek out Des O'Connor at the Cellardoor.

THURSDAY: If our Zinger Of The Week doesn't grab you by the short and curlies, pull up a pew at the RVT where Lisa Stansfield and Myra Dubois will be amongst the judges of the latest heat of Burger Queen 2012, the booty contest for big-boned beauties.

FRIDAY: ...and talking of burgers, if Morgan Spurlock was British, he would no doubt have swapped the McDs for pints of Murphys and tried to stay drunk for a week. Unfortunately, Bryony Kimmings's much-lauded show at the Soho Theatre Seven Day Drunk has beaten him to it. Better luck next time, mate. Seven Day Drunk continues until 31 March.

Over at Bar Music Hall, get your dancing shoes on as gender-bending twisted sisters the LipSinkers will be performing for FREE.

SATURDAY: Camille O'Sullivan graces our shores headlining a day of St Patrick's revels at the Roundhouse while those in the mood for a show should head to the Leicester Square Theatre for so-timely-it-hurts musical Toxic Bankers.

SUNDAY: More FREE cabaret tonight at the Comedy Pub as the Carnival Of Freaks go every which way but loose with magic, comedy and more.

MONDAY: Two recession-friendly options: there be drag queens at the Cellardoor for a very round price (i.e. FREE) or you can watch Timberlina publicly fondle his smooth balls at the RVT’s weekly bingo for £1 a round.

TUESDAY: Looking for some mid-week magic? Head down to the biggest and loudest illusionist show in town, The Houdini Experience at the Peacock theatre.
