The Green Head Of Sclater Street

We encountered this verdant bonce yesterday while on our daily constitutional round Shoreditch. The green head can be found at the western end of Sclater Street, staring out at Bethnal Green Road, as if in chromatic brotherhood with that thoroughfare. It resembles a traditional Green Man, but also sports Native American-style feathers, a metallic tongue and a 3-in-1 oil can. How very strange.

The numinous noggin appears to be from street artist Jonesy, although we can only find a few other examples of his work online. Do let us know in the comments if you have any further information about the fellow.
