As part of the upcoming month-long Roundhouse CircusFest (28 March-29 April), the works of Israeli-born London-based photographer Ben Hopper are being shown at two venues.
Hopper - whose recent work includes the decidedly NSFW art parody Naked Girls With Masks - has put together a series of portraits capturing circus performers from around the world at work and rest.
Over in the foyer of Jacksons Lane, WickED Circus showcases the performers at last December's Circus Space in Hackney Wick. The exhibition is currently being previewed there and will stick around until the end of CircusFest.
His exhibition at Arts Depot's Community Wall, Circle At Cerca, is based on Hopper's shots from last year's Circa Festival which featured the work of 12 different international schools of the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools (FEDEC). This exhibition too will be around until 29 April.
