Wednesday: Coldharbour London Gallery screens artist film 'Love's Presentation' which captures the creation of David Hockney’s famous Cavafy Etchings of 1967 narrated by the man himself at 7pm (£4 adv, £5 on the door).
Thursday: Go to the Crap Dates Workshop at the Big Green Bookshop in Wood Green to mark the launch of Rhodri Marsden's book 'Crap Dates' from 7-9pm (free).
Japanese film maker Masayuki Suo is in conversation at the Japan Centre at 6.30pm (free but book your place).
Friday: The Imagine Children's Festival opens on Queens Walk at the Southbank Centre at 11am, until 26 February (free).
Saturday: Goldilocks family theatre is presented by the brilliant Little Angel Theatre with shows at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green at 11am and 2pm (£5, Tower Hamlets residents £4).
