This is a sponsored post about ‘Ursula Martinez: Your Stories, My Emails’ at Soho Theatre
Ever wondered what would happen if your private parts went public?
Ursula Martinez is famous as a founding member of La Soiree and La Clique and for original, experimental and outrageous feats of performance, such as setting her tits on fire and orchestrating the best office party ever.
But when her ‘Hanky Panky’ magic routine got posted online illicitly, she was literally laid bare to the world.
New solo show, ‘Ursula Martinez: My Stories, Your Emails‘ offers a window on her inbox and a look at the characters that entered her life as a result of such unexpected exposure.
Delivered through her unique mix of stand-up, live art and character comedy expect an uncompromising and very funny investigation into identity, obsession, fame, sex, loneliness and the internet.
Oh, and some “really boring nudity”. Speaking of which, watch Hanky Panky here. Warning: not really safe for work.
Ursula Martinez: My Stories, Your Emails is at Soho Theatre now until Saturday 10 March. Show starts at 9.15pm. Tickets Mon-Thu £15, Fri-Sat £17.50.
