Musical Preview: Reasons To Be Cheerful @ Hackney Empire

This is a sponsored post about rock musical Reasons to be Cheerful

The Ian Dury and the Blockheads soundtracked musical — Reasons To Be Cheerful — returns to London for just five performances at Hackney Empire this month.

It's a coming of age story about people who simply love music:

It's 1979. Ian Dury and The Blockheads' new single Reasons to be Cheerful (Part 3) is climbing the charts, and the Tories have won the election. Vinnie and his mates are desperate to see them at Hammersmith but the gig is sold out. When the opportunity to get tickets arises, events take a surprising turn.

Anarchic and energetic, the show boasts a cast of "genuine misfits" and a "cracking live band" and promises to totally rock Hackney Empire for five glorious nights. Do not be afraid to sing-a-long!

Reasons To Be Cheerful is at Hackney Empire for 5 performances only from Wednesday 28 March - Sunday 1 April. Tickets £10-£27.50.
