To mark Her Lizziness's Diamond Jubilee, the Bishopsgate Institute have a bustling programme of 15 talks and walks themed around monarchy and republicanism.
Events include: who was Britain's greatest queen?, the real story behind George VI's speech therapist (you may have seen a film about this), the connections between the media and the monarchy ("I can't bear that man. I mean, he's so awful, he really is."), and the inevitable debate about whether we'd be better off as a republic. You can also take a walking tour through royal Kensington.
The right royal series begins on 16 February and runs through till the Jubilee celebrations later this year. Tickets are available for booking right now.
