Friday:

Saturday:

  • The Lord Mayor's Show begins at 11am with a round trip parade setting off from Guildhall to the Royal Courts of Justice and back with fireworks on the Thames from 5pm (free).
  • Happy shopping at Kensal Flea from midday till 5.30pm at Paradise (entry £1 charity donation)
  • Prepare for Thanksgiving food with a tasting event at Whole Foods, Kensington (free).
  • The Small Publishers Fair hosts talks and readings at Conway Hall from midday (free).
  • The Royal Manuscripts exhibition opens at the British Library, having been opened by HRH on Friday night (free).
  • London Rollergirls take on US team Sioux Falls at Brompton Hall, Earls Court from 5pm (adult tickets £14/U12s £7).
  • Rich Mix continues its Snapshots day festivals with a focus on Migration, and 'Shetl Superstars', "think Fiddler on the Roof meets Gorillaz" midday till late (free)

Sunday:

  • The National Service of Remembrance takes place at the Cenotaph.
  • The Vintage Wedding Fair is at Chiswick Town Hall (£5 entry).
  • Get arty at the family fun day (for 5-12 year olds) at Ben Uri Gallery NW8, themed around the current Josef Herman exhibition between 2-4pm (free).
  • Have Fun Bashing Things at a brilliant sounding family concert as part of the Wimbledon Music Festival at 3pm, Trinity Church (adults £8, kids £5).
  • Got an iPhone and headphones? Join the silent disco in Hyde Park with fyidisco from 2.30pm (free).
