- It's Armistice Day and the Two Minutes Silence takes place at 11am - join Silence in the Square in Trafalgar Square if you're nearby.
- The World Press Photo exhibition opens at the Royal Festival Hall (free)
- Drop by the launch of new comic ink+PAPER at Orbital Comics, Great Newport Street (free).
- The British Museum stays open for Grayson Perry Late, including craft fair, fashion show and silent disco between 6-9pm (free).
- There's a brilliant Bright Club at the Bloomsbury Theatre.
- Did you do the Slutwalk? Join the fundraiser for 2012 at the RVT.

Sunday:
- The National Service of Remembrance takes place at the Cenotaph.
