Preview: British Bread Golf Open In Kingston

Test your golf skills by hitting dough balls towards a floating hole in the river this Sunday. No experience is necessary, just a £5 charity donation and a trio of bready balls are yours to thwack from the riverside at Kingston into the mighty Thames.

Could you be the 2011 Bread Golf champion? Or will you simply be feeding the swans in a outlandish manner?

The British Bread Golf Open 2011 takes place on Sunday 20 November at O'Mahony Square next to Woody's Bar, Kingston KT1 1HH between 1-3pm. Golfing attire encouraged!

The event is raising money for Creative Youth and is brought to you by the State of Seething, the good people behind the Homage to Fromage Cheese Club, Seething Ski Sunday, the Giant Kerplunk and Seething Sardine Festival. This excellently maverick group have raised over £41,000 for charity with 'silly creative projects' since inception.

Thanks to Shaun Keaveney's 6Music breakfast show for the tip off.
