The Mucky Pup pub in Islington is well known as a dog-friendly boozer with a resident woof. But for one night only, it’s going canine crazy, hosting a fine dining and cocktail drinking experience exclusively for dogs.
The privileged pooches will be “waited on hand and paw by butlers and waitresses. A special band will be playing smooth jazz sounds, alongside other entertainment”.
We don’t think the management have gone rabid but – yes, you guessed it – it is a PR stunt taking its lead from Brian off Family Guy (Season 11 is out on DVD), the discerning dog who’d surely love to lounge to those jazz beats while being served the following:
