Nominate A Paralympic Torchbearer

Richard Whitehead and Local Hero Scott Moorhouse launch Lloyds TSB’s Paralympic Torch Relay campaign. Shine a light on someone who has inspired or supported people with disability in your community by nominating them to carry the Paralympic Flame with Lloyds TSB at www.lloydstsb.com/paralympicflame before 22 November 2011.

580 inspirational Torchbearers, working in teams of five, are sought to ferry the Paralympic flame from Stoke Mandeville to Stratford over 24 hours on 28 August.

Lloyds TSB are leading the hunt for Torchbearers, seeking people who have inspired or supported disabled people in their community, to be part of the very special relay team.

Nominees must be over 12 years of age. Disabled and non-disabled people from all corners of the UK are invited to take part.

To nominate someone, you just need their email address and 150 words to describe why they deserve to be a Torchbearer. You can nominate as many people as you like.

Nominate a Paralympic Torchbearer now.

The Paralympics opening ceremony takes place on 29 August 2012.

Nominations are now closed for the 8,000 inspirational people who will carry the Olympic Torch all over the country before the opening ceremony on 27 July 2012.
