Music Choice: 26 September-2 October

Tonight: experimental guitar shredder Zola Jesus is at Toynbee Studios. Chamber pop maestro Loney Dear is at the Lexington.

Tuesday: electro outfit Walls celebrate the release of their latest album at the Shacklewell Arms.

Wednesday: if you have yet to experience the pageantry of all-lady alt-rock choir Gaggle, be sure to catch them at the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall.

Thursday: 60s influenced indie rockers Ganglians are at Corsica Studios. Norwegian pop band Razika are at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen.

Friday: Japanese electro artist Coppe' is at the Star of Kings.

Chilly Gonzales, sometime rapper and lately a pianist, begins a residency at the Soho Theatre on Wednesday running until 8 October. If you find yourself stuck for ideas for the weekend, the wildly eclectic and unpredictable performer should make for an original night out. And if you don't find yourself stuck for ideas, you should still pencil this one into your diary.
