Catholicism and eroticism make natural bedfellows in Jacob Kimmie's Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Titled "Rhapsody", there are some sensual send-ups of standards; a black mid-length dress has side-slits up to bra-height while a topless female model wears a white wedding veil paired with a skirt, both items reaching down to the floor (very similar to something seen in Kimmie's Autumn Winter 2011 collection). Other motifs in the talented South African's latest designs include crucifixes and red and white prints.
