Jameson Cult Film Club Returns

Fans of free film screenings must be in seventh heaven right now. The More London Film Festival started yesterday (films include The King's Speech, The Social Network and Dirty Dancing). Now we hear that Jameson Cult Film Club returns in October for a fourth season.

The short series (of not particularly cult-ish films, it has to be said) opens with a pair of screenings of The Usual Suspects. The events sounds a bit special: "Film fans will be transported from Westminster Pier by boat to a dock-side warehouse in Trinity Buoy Wharf to enjoy the film with Jameson cocktails in hand. Guests will be able to explore the docks at their peril, not knowing where or when Keyser Söze and other villains of the underworld might strike." That's on 5 and 6 October.

Two other screenings take place in London later in the month. On 29 October, you can catch a pre-Hallowe'en screening of The Blair Witch Project at Union Chapel Islington, while Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the 1978 version) runs the following night at the same venue.

Bag your free tickets via Jameson's blog or Facebook page.
