The annual Maggie's London Night Hike takes place on 16 September. The charity walk tours the capital, with a chance to gain nocturnal access to some of our city's most impressive buildings.
You can tackle either a ten- or twenty-mile hike. Either way, you'll be raising money for a good cause. Maggie's helps people get through cancer, and has an award-winning centre in Charing Cross Hospital (see pics from our visit).
The event is affiliated with Open House Weekend (of which more soon), which means there's an underlying architectural theme. Participants will get after-hours access to City Hall, the Royal Geographical Society, 20 Gresham Street, RIBA, Leadenhall Market and others, including the Maggie's centre itself. Stop-offs include food, drink and entertainment. Here's how we fared last year.
