Crystal Palace Overground Festival, 10-13 August

Join in the fun around the Triangle as the Crystal Palace Overground Festival shows off the best the area has to offer.

The free four-day festival features the best local live music, poetry, theatre, comedy, film, food and fashion around the Crystal Palace Triangle, with the main festival taking place on the Saturday. Look out for Westow Park’s very own recycled dinosaur, kids’ activities, and even a good old-fashioned tug of war.

Comedian and Crystal Palace resident Mark Steel will open the festival on Saturday at 11.45am on the Antenna stage in Westow Park.

Around the Crystal Palace Triangle, local pubs and bars like The White Hart, Gypsy Hill Tavern and The Grape and Grain will host gigs and DJs. In addition, there'll be ceramic workshops for children, painting and tailoring demonstrations, an open air cinema, a silent auction, and plenty of shopping, particularly if you're a fan of Crystal Palace's funky antiques and vintage shops.
