TONIGHT: Debate On Phone Hacking At LSE

The London School of Economics is hosting a debate on phone hacking tonight at its Aldwych campus.

Speakers at the event are:

David Aaronovitch, broadcaster and columnist  for The Times;

Charlotte Harris, partner at Mishcon Private, a commercial law firm;

Martin Moore, director of the Media Standards Trust;

and Paul Staines, better known as political blogger Guido Fawkes.

The participants will discuss whether, in light of the recent phone hacking revelations,  it's time politicians regulated the press, and if so, to what extent.

The event is free, no ticket required, and entry is on a first come, first served basis. It starts at 6.30pm, at the Old Theatre, Old Building (map). Nearest stations are Holborn and Temple.
