The Royal Society has been in the business of organising events for 351 years. You may remember its South Bank extravaganza last year, which saw model pterodactyls swooping down on the Royal Festival Hall, and hundreds of scientists filling spaces normally occupied by the arts.
Its Summer Science exhibition returns to London today, with six days of free events and exhibiting ahead. It's basically a chance for anyone and everyone to have a chat with some leading scientists and get a glimpse of the future. Here's what to expect, in efficient, lab notebook-style bullet points:
