Ben & Jerry's Sundae festival came to Clapham Common last weekend for the seventh consecutive year, bigger and better than ever. Double Scoop Sundae spread over two days, and two sites – this year also incorporating Heaton Park, near Manchester. Over 20 live acts played for the delight of the festival audience. Saturday was headlined by Ocean Colour Scene, with support from Ash and the Fun Lovin' Criminals. Sunday saw Maximo Park top the line-up, with Gary Numan and the Duke and the King helping to excite the crowd.

Hidden gems in the bill included competition winners Electrixcity, who provided a punchy start to Sunday's proceedings, and Rachel Sermanni and Deer Park on the Acoustic Stage. Good causes also abounded: Vauxhall City Farm were present with many of their farmyard animals in a petting zoo; the RSPCA and Pants To Poverty mingled with the crowd, raising awareness for their own causes.
