Things To Do In London On The Cheap: 24-30 June

Friday: Greenwich and Docklands International Festival begins its 9 day run of amazing free arts stuff outdoors with Greenwich Fair.

Saturday: Join or watch Stitch London stitching science at the Science Museum all weekend.

Celebrate Fulham with Wandsworth Bridge Road Fun Day, 11am-4pm, free.

Sunday: Explore beautiful Crossness Pumping Station between 10.30am-4pm. Adults £5, kids free.

Learn to meditate at Russia Dock Woodland with Meditation in the Park, 12-5pm, free.

Have family fun at Hampstead Heath Summer Festival on South End Road, including a petting zoo, local celebrities and the 'Pup Idol Dog Show'. Free, 11am-5pm.

Monday: Be at Guildhall Yard for 10pm to witness the Midsummer Street: Dusk Chorus - a natural soundscape of Australian birdsong and wildlife interpreted by dancers as part of the City of London Festival, free.

Tuesday: Celebrate the relaunch of the Bishopsgate Institute with a lunchtime walking tour: Explore the City. Leaves from Bishops Square at 12.15 and is free. There are also free French and Yoga taster sessions running.

After work, there's a free Big Ideas talk at the Wheatsheaf posing the question, do organisations have minds? Starts 8pm, free.

Wednesday: It's a Green Garden Lunchtime at Bunhill Fields with a history tour of Bunhill Fields by the City Guides. 12.30pm, £5.

Thursday: Watch the GE Canary Wharf Triathlon with over 100 elite competitors from 6.30pm.
