Exhibition: Robson Cezar, King of the Bottletops

This is Robson Cezar. That is his DONG.

The tintinnabular typography adorns The Bell pub in Spitalfields, alongside an equally vibrant DING. The unusual murals are formed from bottle tops, collected by Cezar from the pubs of E1.

Some of the Brazilian artist's best works are now collected in a month-long exhibition. They've been distributed among three Spitalfields venues: Agnes b. in Spitalfields Market, The Golden Heart in Commercial St, and Rough Trade East in the Truman Brewery.

The exhibition opens at 6pm tonight (2 June) and runs till 30 June. It was arranged by Spitalfields Life (one of London's truly great websites, which we never grow tired of recommending). You can read their interview with Cezar here.
