When Molly Naylor was 21, she got on a Circle line train at Liverpool Street. The date was 7th July 2005.
Five years later she created a one-woman show out of her experiences of the bombing and the aftermath; but instead of a dark or angry or political screed she's created a tale about growing up, about becoming a different person. Oh, and it's done in poetry.
The show was first performed at Edinburgh last year and now has a three night run at Battersea Arts Centre. If you want a taste of Molly's style you can read her poem Sharks, which is moving and visual and funny, or you can take a look at this trailer.
Whenever I Get Blown Up I Think of You is at Battersea Arts Centre 26th-28th May, 7.30pm, £10 / £6.
