Music Choice: 31 May-5 June

Come back from Bank Holiday in full technicolour splendour. Art Brut kicked off their residency at the Lexington on Monday night, and will continue every night this week through Friday. Celebrate their latest album, Brilliant! Tragic!, and rock out modern art-style. Elsewhere this week:

Tuesday, Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore goes solo at Union Chapel in support of his lastest album. For a different kind of noise, electro band Three Trapped Tigers are at Cargo.

Wednesday, post-industrial band Innerpartysystem is at XOYO and the Glaswegian aggro-pop band with the impossible to spell name, Dananananaykroyd, are at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen.

Thursday, New Zealand psych rockers the Phoenix Foundation are making their highly anticipated London return at Scala. Ubiquitous techno nerd everyone loves to hate Moby is at the Roundhouse.

Friday, 60s folk icon Donovan is at the Royal Abert Hall. Not mellow yellow but still mellow are Low at the Barbican.

Roll into your all-too short weekend with pop rock band 6 Day Riot at the Borderline.
