Fancy having a snoop at some of the Olympic venues a year before everyone else? And for less money? A few of the facilities are running test events over the coming months, and tickets have just gone on sale.
- Mountain Bike: 31 July at Hadleigh Farm, Essex
- Beach Volleyball: 9-14 August at Horse Guards Parade
- Basketball: 16-21 August at Basketball Arena, Olympic Park
- BMX: 19-20 August at BMX Track, Olympic Park
Tickets range from £5 to £35 and can be purchased here. As with Olympics and Paralympics card sales, payers will have to use Visa. No complicated ballot system here. Just pay and go.
If you hate bikes and soft balls, plenty of other test events will release tickets soon, including sports in the Aquatics Centre and Olympic Stadium.
