Exhibition: Some Photographs Taken In France at Diemar/Noble

Want to see some cheeky photographs of Toulouse-Lautrec taking a dump on a beach? That (taken by art dealer Maurice Joyant at Le Crotoy, Picardie) and much more is on show at photo gallery Diemar/Noble in Some Photographs Taken in France.

Beyond the famous artist making a poo, this “celebration of the first 100 years of photography in France” offers an excellent opportunity to view a number of works by some of France's best known photographers including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Man Ray, Dominique Roman and plenty more. Perhaps not quite as amazing as past shows at Diemar/Noble (but there have been some very amazing exhibitions at this gallery in recent years), this stroll down the scenic and especially historic memory lane of France photography should be near the top of any photo-geek's agenda.

Some Photographs Taken in France runs until 16 July at Diemar/Noble, 66/67 Wells Street W1P 3PY. Visit www.diemarnoblephotography.com for details.
