TONIGHT: Jonathan Coe @ Kings Place

Inexplicably, there are still tickets left for tonight's Guardian Review Book Club talk with Jonathan Coe. The night focuses on What a Carve Up!, Coe's hideously fantastic satire on the 1980s, currently the subject of John Mullan's month-long analysis in the Guardian.

Mullan's hosting the chat, which will hopefully also touch on some of Coe's other excellent work, including The Rotters' Club, its sequel The Closed Circle and The Terrible Privacy of Maxwell Sim.

The Guardian Review Book Club with Jonathan Coe is at Kings Place, 90 York Way, at 7pm. Tickets cost £9.50.
