Slowalk (In support of Ai Weiwei) @ Tate Modern Saturday 30 April

Following its self inscribed statement 'Release Ai Weiwei' a few weeks ago, Tate Modern stages Hamish Fulton's 'Slowalk (in support of Ai Weiwei) this Saturday and you're invited to join it.

Ai Weiwei's Sunflower Seeds installation in the Turbine Hall will close on Monday. In response to it and the recent disappearance of Ai Weiwei, Hamish Fulton will create a slow formation walk in the amazing space of the Turbine Hall over 2 hours. It will be a meditative experience, 'a form of silent activism, where the participants are both art and viewer on a communal journey.'

You must apply before Friday to participate. Email [email protected] to find out how.

Slowalk (In support of Ai Weiwei) takes place at Tate Modern on Saturday 20 April between 12-2pm.
