Second Day Of Disruption For Jubilee Line

Passengers on the Jubilee line are suffering a second day of delays after a signal failure at Baker Street with services currently suspended between Willesden Green and London Bridge.

Last night the whole line was closed around 7pm due to a power failure, leading to passengers having to be evacuated from the train. Just to add to the misery, the Circle, District and Metropolitan lines were also experiencing problems.

We know that TfL's promise of brighter, shinier and better everything tube-related will eventually get here, but spending half an evening shuffling down a stuffy tunnel when we could be enjoying the hottest days of the year so far outside with a drink in our hand does rather make it seem far far away.

It's no consolation for Jubilee line passengers, but the rest of the network appears to be running a good service this morning.
