Fancyapint? Top Pubs Along The London Marathon Route

The London Marathon goes off from 9am on Sunday morning. That may be a mite early for a beer but by the time your mates reach your cheering on vantage point, you may well be glad of a reviving snifter. Fancyapint have put together a handy list of pubs along the Marathon route to help you out from start to finish.

Spectators, check out the race information for an interactive route map and help on getting the most out of your day. And GOOD LUCK to all the runners!

- Princess of Wales3P_sl.jpg (Blackheath)
Near the start of the race if you fancy seeing the thousands off.

- Hardy's3P_sl.jpg (Greenwich)
Decent local with great food along the route.

- The Ship3P_sl.jpg (Rotherhithe)
Traditional pub in the heart of Rotherhithe.

- The Draft House (Bermondsey)
Great place for beer near the end of Tower Bridge - and a great place to watch them run by.

- The Grapes (Limehouse)
One of the best pubs in London in our opinion.

- Lord Nelson3P_sl.jpg (Docklands)
Great local at the end of the Isle of Dogs.

- City Pride3P_sl.jpg (Docklands)
Famous for being on telly during the Marathon.

- The Banker (Cannon Street)
An excellent pub by the river - just get there early if you want a river view.

- St. Stephens Tavern3P_sl.jpg (Whitehall)
Grade II listed pub across the road from the Houses of Parliament and not far from the finish line.

- Bag O' Nails3P_sl.jpg (Victoria)
Handsome pub near the finish line for a decent pint.

Also, watch out for the best dressed Marathon pub.

It's all about going to the pub at Fancyapint.com.
