Book Now: Lee Valley White Water Centre Opens 22 April

Lee Valley White Water Centre is the only brand new London 2012 venue you can try out before the Games. And it opens to the public just before Easter, on Good Friday (22 April).

The brand new White Water Centre gives you the chance to raft the same rapids that'll go on to host five exciting days of Canoe Slalom competition during the London 2012 Games.

It's not cheap: tickets start at £49, but for that you get to experience half-a-day's adrenalin pumping rafting and canoeing, at what's described as "the best centre of its type anywhere in the world."

The website promises at least four runs down the course. From a calm first trip, the fear factor will be stepped up, and by your final run, you should be surfing, high-siding, spinning and nose-dunking with the very best.

The Lee Valley White Water Centre opens on 22 April. Visit  www.gowhitewater.co.uk or call 08456 770 606 to book. For more info, check out www.leevalleypark.org.uk/whitewaterrafting. Lee Valley White Water Centre is on the northern edge of London, 10 minutes from the M25 and 25 minutes by train from central London.
