Tonight: Late At Tate Britain

Pimlico's foremost gallery of British art stays open past bedtime tonight. Prowl the newly rehung galleries of Tate Britain, glass of wine in-hand, until 10pm.

As usual, plenty more than paintings and weird sculpture is on show. David Musgrave and Laure Prouvost both do something vague-sounding that possibly translates as reading stories. Meanwhile, anyone who was a member of the Young Ornithologists Club as a kid will remember the name Peter Holden. The famous twitcher will be at the gallery with son Andy to talk about birdsong. Possibly one to Tweet.

Late at Tate runs 6-10pm and entrance is free.
