If you're walking past her today, wish a Happy Birthday to HMS Belfast. She was launched on St Patrick's Day 1938, commissioned into the Royal Navy the following year and is now the only surviving vessel of her type to have seen active service during the Second World War.

One of our Top Ten Tourist Attractions That Don't Suck, we highly recommend a visit.

Flick through our photo gallery to admire her beauty and if you're out for a Paddy's Day pint or two, raise a glass and say sláinte to HMS Belfast.

Thanks to Buckaroo Kid, essexdiver, Jamie McK, Fabrizio Tavaroli, biscuitvirtual, yellobagman, Sam Knox and Matt from London for putting their photos in the Londonist Flickrpool.
